EcoNews: Good choice, Kellogg’s!

February 19th, 2014

Hello GreenZoners,

we are pretty sure that you are doing your best to be green in your life and we don’t have to remind you basic rules of eco lifestyle. But: today is a really good day to talk about such a basic thing like responsible shopping. Are you sure that you are buying food and stuff from green companies?

If you are buying food from Kellogg’s, since now you are doing really good thing! Why?

The food giant Kellogg’s has caved in to public pressure and agreed to buy palm oil only from suppliers who can prove that they actively protect rainforests and peatlands and respect human rights.

So ok, maybe it was not only Kelloggs’ independent decision, but it was a really good decision. It is also a kind of proof that green people have power and can force such a good choices even on huge companies.

What should we do know? Keep green and watch how Earth is changing in better place:)
