Eco News #36 – Beijing, China: Air pollution hit critical level

It was recently reported that air pollution in Beijing, the capitol of China reached very dangerous level, according to World Health Organization (WHO).
The air is said to have the taste of coal dust and car fumes, which are the main sources of pollution in China.

China is respected for being the fastest growing economy in the world – but the cost of such success is huge amounts of waste and pollution present in the cities.
Smog covering the whole city is so thick, that you can see only a few hundreds metres ahead in the direction of city centre, just like there was very thick fog.
Tiny particles in contaminated air may cause lung cancer or heart diseases.

    Que horrible contaminación tiene ahi, terribleee!!!! Prometo a partir de hoy cambiar las bolsitas de mi tienda de ropa por las de carton no laminado (Las q uso en este momento son de polietyleno) se q no es mucho pero empezare por eso =)
