Greenzoner.comThis cute looking dolphin is called snubfin – and the awareness of its existence is relatively young – it was discovered in 1948 and they are believed near the northern coasts of Australia.
It was only recognized as a species in 2005, and today these river dolphins are sadly threatened by coastal development in Queensland.
No actions to prevent them from extinction were taken so far.
