Eco News #4 ash from a Mexican volcano forces airport to cancel flights

Popocatepetl is a volcano located in Mexico, near the city Pueblo. Because of intensified gas emission of Popocatepetl, airport in Pueblo had to be closed for one more time during few days.
The volcano showed the signs of activity during the weekend and sent hot rocks, ash and vapor into the air. It is the biggest activity since last 3 months and was alerted with the level five on a seven levels scale.

Around the volcano there lives over 30 million people, but no evacuation actions were taken so far. However, all citizens were recommended to be ready to leave if the situation is going to get worse.
