The most important task is to limit the amounts of greenhouse gases by the end of 2014.
For now no clear program has been created to precise what each country will do.
Officials from United States say that it would be better if every country could develop that program by themselves instead of forcing ideas from the outside. But what does it mean?

That means they will have to abandon the 1997 Kyoto Protocol, which established the precise goals of cutting the contaminating emission by the end of 2012.

The United Nations are concerned about the human’s impact on the planet. For example, temperature – it has already risen by 0.8 degree Celsius since the Industrial Revolution.
The idea is to switch to renewable sources of energy fast enough, so that we can achieve the state that was before Industrial Revolution.

China and India say that United States and European Union should lead the way in ecologic development, while giving other, poorer countries, possibility of still using fossil fuels to provide fast economic growth.
