This is the sandbox tree, but it also has different, more interesing name: “Monkey No-climb” – and that name really fits! That’s because the tree is covered with dangerous thorns, preventing any animal from climbing on its trunk.
Unusual shape of a shell, isn’t it? That’s why the animal you see here is named Peanut – and no, it’s not a name of a species. The shell disfigurement is the cause of littering the oceans – when turtle was still very young, he got wrapped by plastic 6-pack packaging.
If it comes to the destruction of coral reefs, are we truly aware of what’s the cause? 😉
